well, its going on a year plus, and Im almost done with the DC project. Thanks to everyone here on Case YT that helped me along the way. I did have a chance to go for a little test ride, and I did not have the center cast wedges good and tight, could have been a bad deal, but I noticed it right away. other then that, The tractor runs good and strong, and I love it. Thanks ,Jim

Thats a really great looking DC - especially like the wide front end. My DC is original unrestored so will never look like yours.

John, I have to admit one thing, A new paint job will make a tractor look fresh, but its original condition tells the story. My favorite tractors are the ones I have not painted, nothing can beat a good running original condition tractor. thanks, Jim

I think the "chicken roost" should be painted Flambeau Red instead of Black, but it is your tractor so have it your way.

Tom,You are right. I will be re-painting things back the way they should be. I will probably do that next spring when its a little warmeR. had a guy stop over to look at the tractor, and he told me never to alter paint schemes, try stay close to original. thanks,Jim

She looks beautiful.....I recently rescued a 1951 dc3 from becoming a parts tractor..... she didnt run and she was my first project...I surprised my husband with her for our 25th anniversary. He seen one at a show in the summer and fell in love with them. thank you for posting your pictures. I tweeked ours because I wanted her to be ONE OF KIND just like the man I married. I kept track of the event and made a clip of it to share with him.
