Case L tractor can,t keep running

Just rebuild the motor on a 1938 Case L tractor, but for some reason the tractor stalls out. I thought it was Carb but did it with another Carb off our case la. I am wondering if it is in governor setting. Any help would be great.

Make sure that your mag isnt weak. I had one once quit giving out a spark after the mag got warmed up from the engine heat. After it stalls out check for spark.

I have read , { on this site } that the Carb. isn't getting enough AIR ... the tube or the air box was partly plug ...

it may be only my 2cents .... mark

Hi,
ok check the spark after it stops and the air tube like Zach and Mark suggested. But also is it only running on the contents of the fuel bowl? Is there good fuel flow to the carb bowl? blocked filter or line perhaps?

I just thought of something else ..
on my La ... it would only idle ... after checking a lot of different things ... I found on the Carb .. there's a filter {screen }... took it out and it { La } run find .... still looking for a screen filter to go back in ..
