Would there be any interest in a complete CASE-O-MATIC Re-build kit, for the 800 730 830 tractors, if I were to put 1 together? All the Plates, Sealing Rings, Bearings, Bushing & Big Gasket total $1340.50. All USA. The snap rings wouldn't be included, but are available. Just think, she'd be good for another 55 years.

What would you need to do to one to need a rebuild kit? LOL Don't think I know anyone that's done one so it would be a low volume seller but nice if needed.

As many as I have been through I would think the seals, main rear bushing, and the lock up clutch disk would make a complete kit. I have never seen a bad multiple disk clutch.

Scoring & warping of the clutch pack in the back is why they drag the tranny gears. I've never been in one that didn't require the replacement of that clutch pack.

John - I think just getting the word out that a kit is available would change some people's negative attitude towards COM. In addition, I believe there would be some sales and would be worth the effort if you did not have to have a lot invested on parts setting on the shelves. I have passed up buying a couple of tractors with COM because they had a problem and I was not familiar with parts availability. Just my thoughts.

A few years ago I did one in a 830 and a 530. Two different sizes. It took many times longer to locate all the parts that I needed as it did to do the work. What a pain in the behind. Twin Disk the maker of the converter was very helpful. They supplied me with drawings of the converter. Case dealer was not much help.

maybe ,, but not here ,, at least for now , JOHN I hope you can move serveral to make it worth your while,.. , my 800 has been sidelined from heavy work ,, I have a supposedly good c-o-m and pump,,,if I can ever climb out from under the rock of too many things to do ,, I intend to swap out parts ...

I'm planning on keeping my 830 forever. Don't have any problems now with the C.O.M. but it would be reassuring to know that parts available sometime in the 2030s when it needs a rebuild! Lol...slim

John what do you think the price would be? Maybe those of you lucky enough to own a COM should buy a kit and put it on the shelf, or it might not be available later
