case plow parts

[yak651]

I have a case 2 bottom plow, i don't see any id numbers on it to indicate a model number. I need to get a hub assembly for the coulter, one is cracked. Attached are some pictures, maybe someone could offer some suggestions on where to purchase. I tried a local tractor/machinery junk yard with no luck. Thanks in advance for your help!

Looks like "T 2188" in casting of hub and "9A"

Also, I don't need it, but basically the plow is pretty nice, wouldn't mind finding a thrash thrower to complete the plow, one is broke off on it. Info on this also appreciated.

I don't believe the parts you need necessarily must be Case unique, as OEM components. A coulter hub from any coulter with the same width and axle dia should work OK. In fact, it would be much easier to simple replace the entire coulter assembly with an OK used one from most any set of scrap plows. As long as the mounting shaft is the same dia and offset.
Also, a trash board may be replaced with most any aftermarket part. Even from TSC.

If there is only one piece broken out, I think someone should be able to weld it back with a torch and a brass rod.

I might have that. I have several old coulters from old case plows. I will check tomorrow and see if I have one like the pictures you show. I will e-mail you if I find one.

Thank you, let me know.

I checked through my junk today and I have a coulter that looks exactly like the one in your picture except the # stamped on mine appears to be something like T 1252. I cannot be sure because I was looking at it with a flashlight. The hub has 6 holes and appears to be about 3" in diameter. The frame is shaped like the one in your picture so this one would probably work. Also the hub assemply has a ring that goes on the other side of the disk like the one you showed. Let me know if you are interested. My e-mail should be open.
