Long story short--case 1175

1. should the pto pressure rise with acceleration?

2. Do you you remove or add washers/shims etc to increase pressure?

I recently worked on one and the pressure did not change from an idle up to about half throttle. As soon as I turned on the PTO it jumped right up to 180 pounds psi and stayed there. If you are getting a variation in your psi I would guess either your pump is weak, a leak internally or your spring is weak or broke where your pressure is set at.
