Hey I just bought a Case SC I was just wondering where i should start on it. It sat five years i rewired the alternator, new plugs and wires and cleaned the magneto cap so far. I was just wondering if this would be a 6 volt or 12volt or how to check cause it needs a new battery i was just wondering if anyone had any ideas or what to look 4 thanks

If someone had an alt in it its probably now 12 volt neg ground.12volt wont hurt the starter long as you dont spin it too long and get it hot.This is if it has a mag! Hoss

the mag should be totally reconditioned and sealed. carb needs to be well cleaned.

Clean the magneto points with some fine sand paper or a nail emory board and see if it has spark.
