Hey i hav a case sc that when it try to start it just smokes and every once in a while it will pop i was wondering what would cause this. Magneto?

I would check for good spark and good time. After that check for fuel.

They are notorious for burning through the manifold (exhaust and intake mix). They are repairable if that is what happened. Check on the Case board. You might get better help there.
