Hi,I just got a Case tractor not sure what model it is someone took the serial plate off.But guessing it is a 611B.I need to know what oil to use in trans/hydr b/c it is low. Also it has two lever on the dash one on the left it the throttle but what is the other one?Does it have Live PTO or should there? There is a lever sitting on the tractor on the right side next to running board that leads to the back of the tractor.I will have other question im sure Thanks Tony

I can help you just a little. The lever on the right is for the tranny. Your tractor must be a Case O-MATIC drive. Here is what my book says word for word.
Case O Matic drive, Give you extra work power, automatically,as you need it. No jerking-no stalling-just select the proper transmission working range, open the throttle and go to work! Case-O-Matic drive doubles the pulling power in tough going, without shifting. Case O Matic drive permits automatically slower ground speed without slowing the power take off operation-allows the driven machine to clear itself without stoping, shifting or clutching your tractor.
Hope this helps .. but out of my manuel it shows this.

My tractor is a case 311-B with a 146 cub engine. According to my book it shows S.A.E. No. 10 W motor oil for the torque converter housing.
Also shows same for hydralic 3 pt hitch area. 10-w weight. But listen this info is from a mauel on 1958 model. So perhaps other oil weight is ok. I got my manuel from here at yesterdays.com. Real fine book to have. Lots of good info

The 800 I have here has Dextron 3 in the tranny Now ,Recommended by some of the Case -O -matic here on the board , Shifts better , now
