Trying to get cast centers off axle, every time the bolt brakes off,is there anything I should try differant, ???? should the tractor be jacked up or does it matter? Ive tried to loosen off a 720 and a 60 john deere , no luck

Jack it up. Turn the wedge bolts in if you can get them loose. When the wedge is loose, turn the pinion bolt if it is not rusted to move the wheel in or out. Be sure the splines are on top when you do that. If you can't get the pinion bolt to turn, you can push the wedge out completely and move the wheel by turning the splines to the bottom. Best use something to hold the wheel up when you push the wedge all the way out or the wheel might tip on the axle and pop off on you.

I had the same problem with a 720 and i bought a piece of pipe that would fit around the axle and after i had the bolts loose i hit the end of the pipe and drove the wedge tight out. Worked very well. Scott
