Where is a good place to find used Cat pistons for a D-8 and D-9.

Why would you want used Cat pistons. Ours go in the scrap bin. Buy new and go with a 2 piece piston.

Get as light a piston as will stand up to your power level, common sense tells you it takes a considerable amount of power to stop and start a heavy piston at the top and bottom of the bore. If you want to maximise your power go light, reciprocating weight is a lot different than rotating weight, dont let anyone tell you that heavier pistons make more torque, that don't even make sense.
