Caution this hay season

Be alert for utility poles that may dart out in front of you when haying.

Your rural electric guys will appreciate it.

I'm mowing with a Hesston self propelled windrower so I don't have to look back. I've mowed about 30 acres with the old '68 310 so far, have another 15 or so to do.

Fake picture,no mud on the tires. If this picture was real and the tractor was red it would have choked off before entering the field.

Baled a feild like that yesterday. Has 4 or 5 poles right through the middle of it. No problem avoiding them baling due to the slow speed, but mowing it last tuesday was different, the creep up on you fast, especially with the A/C on and trying to find a decent radio station. Well, we now have 18 racks of hay to unload, yippee!

I drove straight into a well casing this season. Wouldn't be a story except it was me who got the well drill there last year lol.
