CAV injector pump on 2-105?

My injector pump is leaking at the throttle cable attatchment to the pump. What can I do about reapairing it? Then according to the manual when I put the pump back on I have to re-time the pump by taking off the number 1 valve and used a dial caliper to measure TDC of the number one cylinder?

I just put in new o-rings on the fuel shut-off and throttle shafts on my 1850 this spring so far so good no more fuel leaking, I did not remove the pump from the engine to do this.

First I removed the fuel shut-off cable from its lever on the pump, next I unhooked the linkage on the throttle shaft lever. Remove each lever from each shaft. Take out the three bolts that hold the rectangular cover to the pump. I had to lightly tap on the cover with a rubber hammmer to break it loose from the pump and be ready fuel will spill everywhere. If I remember correctly the fuel shut-off shaft will come with the cover but the throttle shaft (with the lever removed) can be pushed in toward the pump as you take the cover off.
You will need two o-rings for each shaft and a new gasket when you put the cover back on the pump.
Hope this helps.

on my 1850 the housing was wore and had to put a new one on. still was only around 100.oo for housing and seal kit. doesn"t leak a drop anymore.

Get parts at a diesel shop. Also becarefull with the internal linkages when going back together. Take the air inlet off and have a board handy to shut the air flow off in case you didn't get the linkage installed correctly. Did you get my e-mail? I was going to send you a picture of what is all in there. J

Yes, the dealer I use keeps them in stock. Forgot to mention they also included new washers for the three nuts that hold the cover on.

Yes, just sent you a return e-mail with my number. Did not see a picture on you e-mail.

Thanks to everyone for the help.
