cc dc waterpump

Yes it will fit, NO the belt will not line up. If I remember right the CC pump is about 1/4" shorter.

You may have answered my question too? I have a 1939 DC. Needs a pump, DC pump from a 50s D didn't fit. So did a 1939 still use the CC pump? If so where can I get one?

39/40 had what I would call a transitional pump , is yours missing or leaks, not hard to make them seal ,later pump should bolt to the block, DK may be right about alignment, I thought I looked at this once and figured it would work.

Didn't intend to butt in on Alan's question. For that I apologize. I know the 39 isn't the same as a latter DC. On my 39, I have the pump. Was leaking some five years ago, so was going to change it. When the one I had for the tractor didn't fit, because of alignment, we put the old one back and put in stop leak. Now it leaks too bad to use. Where can I get seals or kit to rebuild it, or have it rebuilt?

I think DK once told me they have two hardened steel washers for sealing like a cc, on cc pumps I have polished the washers on a piece of glass, smeared some water proof grease on them and greased the pump occasionally since and never had a problem

I may have a dc pump in stock. If not I would be able to rebuild your core and return it to you. Feel free to send me an email for more info.
