I?ve been scratching around the web to jar my memory on the
topic of the classic CASE ?frog eye? grill design. I recall
reading something about the styling coming from the
acquisition of ATC/ TerraTrac around 1957. This is foggy in my
memory and even foggier in my recent search. It appears that
ATC might of had that design on the table or possibly on some
larger models at the time J.I. Case purchased them, but that
also shows up on the CASE tractors in the ?57 model year
which leaves the design origin a bit ambiguous. Can anyone
confirm whether that design was ACT adopted by CASE or
was it CASE origin given to the crawlers after the CASE
acquisition?
