cockshtt 560 in the junk yard

padnos scrape yard in hasting michigan , has a cockshutt 560 gas !!! farmer's dad died,,,rough,,motor had water in the oil,,,so sat for 2 yrs ,,,if you want it,call-269-945-3054

560 only came with perkins diesel

Beg to differ, I think they had a gas model, as well. I believe the 570 Super was the only model that was diesel only.

Perkins Diesel 270 cubic inch only in the 560,must be a 550 or 570.

The Wendel Oliver book notes that the 560 and 570 were available with a gasoline motor for the Canadian market, but diesel only for the States.

Don't believe everything in that book.Last I knew Ohio was part of the USA and we had a customer who purchased a new 570 gas. There was also another 570 gas on the way to work. There were no 560 gas tractors, All were Perkins powered either the L-4 or the later 270 D. I. engine. Cockshutt was the company that introduced Perkins to North America.
