cockshutt 20 grill

I am restoring a Cockmshutt 20, and discovered my grill set does not have any wire mesh behind the horizontal bars. I am reluctant to spend $239 on a new set. Can anyone tell me a)how heavy the mesh is that they used and b), how did they attach it?

If you check back, Phil will likely have a screen kit to sell you. The original screen is tack welded in. I think some have used JB weld to attach but have not done so myself. Kit has screen, clips and rivets, I think. Check for other replys. Good Luck

Hi Ralph,

I have the grille rebuild kits and new grilles on stock.

The grille rebuild kit includes 2 special ss screens that are a very odd size not used on anything else. Also included are 4 spring clips and 4 alum rivets.

My new grille sets are way under the price that you included in your posting.
