What is the value of a cockshutt front weight part number TO12802W? It fits 30-50 tractors. Are they rare or a fairly common weight? thanks nathan

It is the square weight with the hook loop on it.

You"ll find quotes all over the price spectrum. I feel the rounded weights are worth a little more, but you could expect between 250 to 600 depending on condition and how much someone wants it. You don"t see them often, that"s for sure.

A front weight for a 30 is different than the 35 , 40, 50. (Golden Arrow, Golden Eagle etc...) It's smaller. There was an inner and outer weight. Referred to as a banana shape. The 500 series had square weights.There are some of both around, but not plentiful.

The TO-12802W square weight is the same on the Cockshutt/COOP 30 through 50. the difference is the mounting brackets. I have seen even less of these weights then the formed nose weights. The formed nose weights have sold as high as $800.00 that I know of. The square is less sought after but seems just as rare. I only know of one that was sold for a 50 and it brought around $500.00. hope this helps. good luck Irv
