covers? Have 4 or so, some with contents and some
empty. I've had since '65. What are they worth?

Holy smokes!! I'd be single living in gov'mnt housing trying to accumulate that many tractors as some of you have! All I've acquired is one 74 open station 105, one 79 cab 105, one 85 cab 110, and a diesel 58 880, which I'm supposed to sell. (Right!) I have a near complete Oliver and White toy tractor collection which doesn't seem too raise so much attention as the real ones! But I'm an Oliver marine so to speak and will keep adding as I can ..(she let's me, hee, hee).

Oh just to see if we can do it mostly. The 336 gas that was in it had well over 10.000 hours and finally gave up so we wanted to try something different.

You are correct we will have more in the tractor than it is worth, but it will be unique.

I am planning on putting a 3.9L cummins in it, with engine rails from a G-1355 and bolt the front end in to the end of the rails. It will likly shorten the tractor about a foot so will have to modify the sheet metal a little. A new paint job, new seat and new gauges and I am goign to try to make it look like an M-5 you would see anywhere, until you start it

Will have some pictures as I get into it more.

Here's what we have:
The newest one is a great running rough looking 77, this one is in the woods pulling tree tops and log splitter.
1958 - 880 Gas, restored and pulling in the antique stock classes. We did the restoration work.
1959 - 770 Diesel, restored, again, we did the restoration.
1961 - 770 Gas, we have a loader on this one and three point and use it daily. This tractor was bought in excellent ORIGINAL condition and with all the original paperwork.
Father-in-law, caught the Oliver bug from his son and he has an 88.

In addition to the Olivers I have now (forgot to include an OC4 diesel crawler), I've had an 880 and a 1550 in the past. Good tractors, all. First introduction to Olivers was in 1964, when the farmer I worked for in high school bought a spankin' new 550 diesel with Freeman loader. I thought that was just about the coolest rig ever. Then in about 1973, a neighbor found out I was trying to disc with an 8N Ford, and made me borrow his 77 diesel for the job. Was like going from a Yugo to a Caddy.
