Can I combine my corn and beans with a JD row crop head? I have a small acerage and want to buy a 4400 combine and wondered if I could get by with one head.

You will need a corn header for corn, and every thing else with the row crop header.

I have picked some corn with a row crop head.Carry it high just below the ears so you don't bring in all the stalk and go slow and nothing bigger than a 4 row on a 4400.The reason I tried this was we had seed corn with very small ears and the Uniharvester was sending it throuth the stalk rolls and looseing to much corn.
