Commander serial number

Does anyone know where I can find the serial number on a Ford 6000 Commander? Can't seem to find a tag or number anywhere.

I don't know a thing about the 6000s.
But...
Every other Ford tractor from 1954 through at least 1983 had the serial number stamped on the tranny - just above and behind the starter.

my 2000 NH 7610s has the sn by the starter as well!

It is in same place as all of that era. Its like all diesels battery acid eats them away.

the serial number and model number is on the casting above the starter on all 6000's.
