need to check compression on a case 730 diesel and want to know where to get a tester or adaptor to fit a snap on set i currently own for gas auto engines I have a manual on the engine but it does not reference a tool number

I made mine from a old bosch injector.

Don't forget its gonna need a gauge that reads at least 800-1000 psi......

I made one for our 680CK C-series Backhoe-Loader by lathe turning a duplicate of the lower portion of the pencil-type fuel injector. Tapped 3/8" pipe thread on the upper-end to mount a 600 PSI gauge with a quick coupler. Worked OK for us.

The 680c Backhoe uses the 301BD diesel engine, same as the 830 Ag tractor. Perhaps injectors are the same on your 730.
