Corn Binder question

I have a mid 40's model PTO driven JD corn binder, haven't bought a manual for it yet but was wondering where on the binder is the lever (or whatever) to swing it out to the left to get the head beside the rear tractor tire? I've looked all over it but don't see anything, only levers i see on it is the 2 at the rear wheels to raise/lower, the front to let the head down and one to raise/lower the pan at the back

This might not have an adjustment on the binder. May have to move the drawbar over maybe out farther back too. Or worse, move the wheel in.

Sorry for not responding about the manual, after looking at it it was too far gone. As for adjusting the hitch, as it sounds that yours is in the road position. Now standing in front of the hitch and looking towards it there is a brace clamped to the main hitch beam with 3 bolts and goes over towards the row unit at a 45 degree angle. All you do is to loosen those three bolts and slide it towards the rear and at the same time the main beam will swing away from the row unit, and this slide adjustment is how you adjust the hitch to fit any tractor witdth. You don't move the drawbar on the tractor it needs to stay in the center for pto alignment

is it still readable? i'll take what i can get, gotta be better than nothing lol Esp. when trying to get the knotter working. let me know what you would want for it.
