My corn survived the 65MPH wind. Lots of my trees didn't. Northern Virginia.

Maybe your trees protected the corn. Relates in Lynchburg still have no electricity and trees are down in streets. Weird year, and it is not over. Here in central IL, never got any rain at the farm. Just finished 175th year celebration parade in Farmer City with my 36 BW and got .2 in town.
 
No, ear corn called Hickory King. It,s a old time corn. Suppose to make good roasting ears. We will see. Sure grows good stalks. I planted it with a 290 planter behind my 50.
