I have a craftsman garden tractor 22 hp 50" cut. I am having trouble finding a 16-7.5-8 tire for a reasonable price. I was told a 16-6.5-8 tire would fit my rim. I can get two of these for about half the price. thanks jeff

Yes, the 16-6.50 and the 16-7.50 are basically the same tire, Sears has for years used odd size tires so you have to go to them for your tires. I would replace them now with the 16-6.50 tires, then you will not have to mess with this again, you can just get common tires when you need replacement. Normally the 16-6.50 should be less than 20.00 per tire.
