These are not mineThis is one of the ways you know the thread is new and not from eons ago, it pops up with ZERO!! replies. I don’t have any crops, well I could tell you how the crops are doing on mom’s farm in KS but they are about 500 miles away.
Been really wet actuallyLooks dry there.
We have been in endless rains since May. Actually light showers every 2-3 days, the corn and beans look awesome from the road, but if you look in the field the corn did not pollinate perfectly. And the beans got a lot of kraut but the pods I see too many 2-bean pods that I’m worried what the actual yield will end up.
Also seems a lot of fungus type stuff going on from the rains and super high humidity.
And been impossible to get the hay and few small grains made.
But need to count my blessings, as the crops look great from the road, so should at least be pretty good all in all.

Going to be interesting to see if the rains continue into fallFor south-central Kansas the corn and beans are great this year due to all the moisture we've had. In our area north of Wichita a ways a guy has been keeping track of rainfall and said that since May 1 we've had just over 30 inches of rain. Note that our average annual rainfall here is only around 35 inches. Lots of corn and beans around here - almost looks like driving through Illinois in places. Wheat has really fallen off as the go-to cash crop here over the last few years. When the weather patterns change and we start getting our usual hot and dry summers that might revert back, though.
