Hello, I recently purchased a Cub 184 lo-boy and it needs a new ignition switch. Does anyone know what the original part number is on a factory switch for these? Thanks! -Henry

Is it a bad switch or a bad connection? Sometimes the battery connection at the switch will breakdown, heat up, melt the plastic shell and corrode.
When I find this, I replace with a common ignition switch with screw terminals.

It is the wrong switch and I needed to find the original one I know its wrong because it takes all of the juice away to make spark for it to start you have to crank it and then let off the key in order for it to start. Also yesterday I went to get on it when it was running and my foot hit the key and broke it off in the switch so now I have to hot wire it to start it

Napa wont have it, mine didnt, nor did they have one that would work. I got one from Bobs, one from here and both went bad pretty quick. I just grabbed on of thos e universal type key switches, and although I had to snip the wires, it has worked perfect since day one 11 years ago. I did save the end in case Iever decide to go back factory, but this mower cuts my ditches so it gets used often.
