I bought a couple of cummings brand load binders for 5/16-3/8 chain to hold my D17 down anybody used them are they anygood.

In case of a tragic accident, (Hope it never happens) ,and the lawsuit that follows, I would sure feel better having a USA made Lebus binder being brought out as as "Exhibit B" , rather than a Made in China one..

Wow. I haven't heard of a binder breaking - ever. I am sure that they do though. I would assume though most breakage is because of incorrect use no matter what the brand. No matter what the lag bolt if the lumber was secured tightly in multiple locations the bolts don't usually break. But if a few weren't installed properly you can have a whole different situation. You realize I am just playing devil's advocate here. I sure that anything with the "cummings" or the "cummins" label is the best.

I have hauled many tractors and other equipment in my life, because I work for an implement. My advice is throw awy the "cummins" binders from the annual tool sale that comes to your town and go to a truck parts store and buy quality chains and binders. The above mentioned brand are good for looks and thats about all. Just trying to save your tractor and someones life.
