What grade bolts or standard on the cutting edge of a Case 450B dozer, I am needing to replace the cutting edge on mine, and am looking to purchase the bolts seperate from the edge.Case wants a war pension for theirs.

If you have got a Rural King or Tractor Supply store go in and buy their plow bolts. The Plow boldts have the right head and will save you bucks.

They're usually grade 8 or higher. They are stronger than standard plow bolts and usually have a domed head but are available aftermarket for considerably less money than OEM. If you think Case is high, price Cat.

just replaced the edges and corner bits on my 450 was one bolt short put a plow bolt in and when I tried to tighten it she stripped real easy don"t know if plow bolts would hold, lot of stress on a dozer"s edge, and if you think the bolt/edge $ is bad buy a set of motor mounts just give $432.00 hope they sleep well will say the new edge (from CASE) are worth it to me,here"s a shot of mine happy dozing CNT

CNH makes bolt kits for edges that come with all of the bolts and nuts for about half the price of buying them by the piece.
