Cyclone rake

Good evening folks. I have a lot of leaves to try & get rid of every year. I just ordered info on the Cyclone Rake. Have any of you had any experience with one? Or know of anyone who has? I have got to do something. They are kinda costly, but probably worth it. Have a great evening.
Thanks
Eddy

Eddy,
I have 3 acres of mature oak trees, and have been using a cyclone rake for 3 years now. I went through 2 other cheaper machines before the cyclone. Not only is it the best machine I have ever had, it cut my leaf pickup time in half! You will not be disappointed in this machine. It is simply the best!

I had been wanting one for a few years, couldn't spend the money for a new one. I had bid on a few on Ebay within driving distance, always was outbid. I finally found one for sale in our local paper for 1/2 the price of a new one and now having used it for two seasons I have to say it works great! I wish I had spent the money and bought one sooner, it really cut down on our fall cleanup.

It does seem pricey, for what it is. You can get a blower and hoses from Penn State Industries, an engine (or 12-volt motor) from Harbor Freight or Surplus Center, have a local HVAC shop fab the plenum. Use your utility trailer, and a chicken-wire box, and you can have a hillbilly leaf-flinger of your own, probably for less than half the price!
