Can a 1957 d 17 allis chalmers hydrauilic pump handle a loader with a remote spool with the traction booter all the way in the up position to keep hydraulic power to the remote.Loader is slow but I can handle that just don't want to mess my pump up

As long as your pump isn't under constant load or dead-headed it will be fine.

I've always wanted to put an open center two way spool valve on my Farmall H so I'd have two way hydraulics. If I did I'd have to have the original lift lever in the lift position all the time so oil would be directed & flowing thru the two way valve back to the reservoir. This doesn't hurt a thing since the pump is always pumping anyway regardless if it's lifting an implement or not.

If you don't put the traction booster all the way up you have to raise the hydraulic lever up ,like you are raising a disc, while also using your loader control. But with the traction booster lever all the way up it runs oil through the remote.
