D Block stud bolts

My new block has arrived but one of the bolts is bent pretty bad and another's threads are buggered up. I am planning on taking 2 out of the old block and replacing the unusable ones in the new block. Any words of advice, best way, or tools to accomplish this? I have seen stud pullers online, the cam type, and wondering if they are of any use? Thanks for any help.

I had good luck with tight double nuts and a box end wrench.This was on a 35A. I guess a pipe wrench on the old ugly studs wouldn t matter much but it sure will mess up anything you intend to use. Good luck, VH

go to sears or snapon and purchase a stud remover.easy and won't damage the studs

Put oversize hex nut on stud followed by smaller hex. tighten them together then use impact gun on lower nut to remove stud you may need to help get them started with pipe wrench or stud remover once they move they go pretty easy. Might need a better or bigger air gun as well.luck Paul
