Where are you guys finding a good heavy duty D-ring to pull from? I know they are not a forum favorite, but Denny's is the only place I am having luck finding one. Thanks!

If you have a local store that supplies parts for semi trucks, you'll find a good selection there. You might even get lucky at a truck stop too.

We have a local store called Potter Webster where I get my D-rings. They are around $8 for a 3" ID ring that's 3/4" thick. A link is posted below to their website. I've used welded on D-rings for years and never had any problems - they're simple and clean looking.

Take a strait clevis without the twist in it cut off the eye and weld pice of flat steel in it drill hole in it and bolt to drawbar and you are ready to go.

I just use spring bolt, cut it off at the write place , weld on a flat plat and away you go.You can get one at any after market store, or a friendly trailer repair . You just cut the old ones off its much faster you cant get the old spring bolts tite enought the 2nd time. The bolt is just about the right width for a farmall swing drawbar to just wield on.

Was at a pull one Saturday and was told If I was to pull the next day at another pull I would not be able to use the Oliver plow clevis I had always used.

A hunk of hot roll bar stock 6" wide 10" long. A cutting torch, a transfer punch, hammer and a drill press solved the problem in probly less than an hour.

When I started pulling my Farmall I had a friend at a machine shop make me one. When he gave them to me he gave me four of them. If you want one I will give it to you for nothing. 1-574-0237
