DC-4 Clutch

Anybody know the trick to setting an over center hand clutch on a DC-4? I can't seem to get it to snap in.

I think it adjusts the same as a model L. There should be an inspection cover on the left side. The throw out bearing rotats but first a spring loaded pin must be pulled out to allow it to turn. Years ago I watched my uncle adjust the old L and the DC MAY be the same. Hope this helps
