anyone have info on how to pull out the case engine and replace it with another breed of engine ex. i have a good running chrysler flathead 6.and smallblock chevy any of you done something similar?. All ideas welcome and appreciated .

A lot of money and excellent machining skills. Tractor clutches are completely different than car flywheels, a frame will have to be buil;t because the engine will not hold the weight of the tractor like the original Case engine does. Something will have to be done to accomadate the front end since it bolts directly to the front of the Case engine in a DC. I could go on and on. Jerrie

You might be able to take the head of the Case, and mount your new engine on top of the block. Then connect the two front crank pulleys with real heavy duty vee belts. I've seen it done with a V4 wisconsin engine on a A John Deere.
