According to Letourneau a high compression head was offered starting in 1950. I see two options on the parts list: A5505A and A5576A. Which is the standard head, and which is the "high compression" one? Thanks in advance.

The 5505 is the lp head and is the head that is comonly called the high compression head as to the other number I have not run across that number on mine.

My Oh my yall need to brush up on your facts. The all fuel head was the A5476 the gas high compression head that used the same valves was the A5505 and the A6128 was the LP head that the valves are very hard to find. I hope I have the all fuel head number correct.

5576

I cannot believe everyone messed this up so bad! 4570 is the old low compression head used on the C and early D's. 5576 is the all fuel head. 5505 is the high compression gas head. 6128 is the LP head.
