A lot of work to go to and then paint most of the tin the wrong color, check out "CASE" on the radiator grill. Also did the radiator overflow really come routed down the outside like that on some year models?

Glenn, you're probably right, but those decal sets aren't cheap either. The guy obviously didn't do a lot of research on Case and had only seen 1955 and after models.

Note that he states all the gages work, but if you look at the ammeter it's stuck to the left in one of the pix (right under where it's missing a battery). I thought the dual hydraulics had 2 levers... apparently not?

The starter button being mounted through the shutter hole is a nice touch, as is that radiator overflow tube. Why did he have to paint the back rims too? They don't rust much here in AZ unless it has calcium in the tires. I hope he didn't pay for that paint job...

On the plus, the head looks a little different than what I'm used to; I'm wondering what the casting numbers are for the propane version in case that's what's on there. It also has the single front wheel that seems to be common in cotton growing areas.

The electrical tape on the steering wheel is also a nice touch.

I think this is a good example of beauty being in the eyes of the beer holder.

Hi Tom,
Progress has been slow on the DH. We're currently machining a new center pin for the front axle pivot, as well as welding and reboring the housing to get it round again. Still looking for some front rims too. And maybe something to pull behind it once I get it all done.
Got anything like that up your way?

thanks

Ken
