Dearborn Cab Info

[MN 8n]

I have been looking everywhere on the net for detailed photos/drawings/dimensions of the Dearborn cab for an 8n and have not found much. I am going to build a Dearborn style cab but would like some more details, such as measurements. If anyone has any info regarding this, it would be much appreciated.

the canvis or steel cab, they had both.

I plan on making one with canvas sides.

dad had one on our 2n years ago I will ask him if he still has it around, last I remember the frame work was in the drive though crib. I will post back with results of search on mon.

MN 8n, Go to tinypic.com , search peewee half cab tractor. There are several images of a canvas cab on my 871. The gray part is Ford, the red parts I made. Hope this helps. Lowell Gehring

If you"re thinking the metal topped cab, I believe it"s Dearborn Model 23-6. Install manual,w/pics, is available from N Owners News. I have one of these on my 8N- looks cool and is very useful too. Can supply specific dims if you need them. If you"re talking the canvas cab (no roof) they"re still available from "Heat-Houser" last I looked

I guess I was confused. It is the Dearborn variety with the metal roof that I would like to build. I will then add canvas or 1/4 inch plywood sides and doors. Thanks for the tip to go to N Owners.
