Hi everyone. First time poster on this site. I'm looking into buying a John Deere 4455. I currently have a '83 5088 International that i'm gonna trade for it. I'm sick of problems the IH has given me. The 4455 i'm looking at is a '91 model. It has 6400 hours and it is very clean and tight. 18.4-42 Firestone radials with matching duals. It has the Quad-range transmission and seems to shift very good. It dynoed 162 horse and is a one-owner. Asking price is 37,500. Is this a fair price? I'm told these 55 series are in high demand and hold their value very well. Can I expect alot more years out of this tractor? I don't really know alot about Deere's. I do like the way this 4455 is built. Looks to be a long life tractor. Thanks in advance, all comments are welcome.
