I made a mistake....
A friend was using a 4240 on a small dump trailer, with a single acting cyinder to dump it
He had it plugged on the left port of the RH side.
The aluminum arm commanding the remote under the cab broke.
He asked me if he could put the rh remote on the left because the left one was acting strange. I told him " yes they are the same."
After the swap, the trailer would not lower with engine on.
I checked the return valve, filter valve etc.... A friend told me about the directional valve spring that he had to change withoyt remembering exactly why and what for.
After a long reading of the SM, i found the explanation on how single acting cylinder needs only to be plugged on the left port of the rh scv.
