diesel engine wanted

Does anyone in Iowa have a good, complete, running diesel engine that I can bolt into my 1800C?

Hey Just what I always wanted a "Yangchai" diesel for an 1800...

My thoughts exactly. I'm proud that my tractors are all American. I even try to make sure that my parts for mine are American made. I have a couple of friends who are engineers for Cat and Cummins. They are always talking about these Jap companies buying their engines to reverse engineer. They do the work and then the others make them and sell them back to us. The only thing that is going to save our country from recession is for more people to be proud of the U.S. and buy American. Anyway, this is a tractor board so I'll get back on topic. Repowers take away from the original tractor to start with but to put a Jap engine in would just be a disgrace.
