Diesel Fuel Tank

Can anybody tell me if there is a difference between a Diesel and a Petrol Fuel tank?

Sparex quote Part No S.42856 for the diesel TEF20 fuel tank and Part No S.42413 for the petrol TEA20 (MF OE P/N 4477, 9623) fuel tank, so I assume there is a difference?

Bare-Co only quote Part No B5158 (MF OE P/N 4477) for the TE20 replacement fuel tank but I think that is the part number for the new tank I installed on my TEA20.

Call Bare-Co in Melbourne. They are very helpful. They even talk to us Queenslanders! LOL

Yes there is a difference in the tanks, it is due to the different connections used. You can get both of these tanks from Sparex and from BareCo.
