Difference between 77 and Super 77

How can you tell the difference from a regular 77 and a super 77? Thanks

THe side covers are differant the supers have a open engine and the regular ones have a closed engine panel, the supers also have disc brakes and only the last of the regular ones have disc brakes most have band brakes, posting the ser. # would also identify which it was

The 2 most noticable differences would be the cast front frames & the engine side panels. The frame on the Super series had flat "pads" for mounting implements. There were 2 pads on each side & 1 pad on the front of the super frame while the fleetline 77 just had the pipe holes in the frame. If the engine side panels are present--the super series had "open" engine panels which were not much more than a trim panel between the hood/nose cone/& rear side panel. The fleetline 77 used fully enclosed louvered side panels.
