Disc Plow

I am finely refurbishing my 402 disc plow. Many of the bolts are not worth saving. Square head with square nuts. I can replace them with hex head, but will not look the same. Is there a source for square head bolts at a reasonable price? Or should I just go to Tractor Supply and buy the hex heads.

Go to www.blacksmithbolt.com and click on "machine bolts" on the menu on the left side of the page. They have square headed bolts. Hope this helps.

Steve, where in Tennessee are you? I live in Jackson in west Tennessee and we have stores(more than one) that sell black iron square head bolts and square nuts. And I do not believe they are any higher in price than zinc hex head bolts and nuts. We also have a store that sells round rawhide belting like is used on the treadle sewing machine (and John Deere corn sheller)
