Drott 40 BEC excavator

Last November I parked my Drott excavator and it ran perfect. I fired it up last week and the right track wont drive. The brake is free and the travel motor is fine. When I raised the track off of the ground it turns slowly then stops after a few seconds. Also does anyone have a shop manual I could buy or use?

not sure where you are...how's the weather??? if its still cold there could be some ice in a hyd line...also how's fluid level in drive unit...if unit is tilted it mite not be picking up fluid if its low.

Hello Marty,
It is hard to fix something like this over the computer.
a few questions that come up , is there any hyd noise when you hit the track lever ? if so hold the lever for a while and try and find the noise, and look for heat build up. if there is no noise look at your lincage.
chances are you have a stuck secondary valve or a broken shaft on the drive motor.
but it could be anything . let us know
Good Luck Ed
