I finally got back to working on the 3rd bathroom that I framed, electrified and plumbed 5 years ago when we added on.
There's still much to do - the shower isn't even started yet but some parts are a given and I know I can tape two of the walls and the ceiling now.
Progress.
I asked about adding a gas line for a stackable W/D a week or two ago.
That's on the other side of this wall.
There are two spaces left in the elec. panel so we've decided to go electric if/when we buy those machines. The water, drain and outside vent are there.
But this is Tool Talk...
Here are a few of my favorite tools from when I was working.
16" Marshalltown trowel, a 6" taping knife - hard to find a USA made one anymore. This one's from china.
And of course, the ubiquitous plastic pail.
Some Durabond 45 too. Still my favorite for taping a bathroom.
This will be a niche with glass shelves.
And a tiny night light behind the soffit at the top.
They're giving us a crash course in Winter this week after a particularly mild one so far.
So not much time in the garage now.
But there's always something to do that's related to tools to keep a guy occupied here.
