I have a dunham lehr disc which i just picked up pretty good shape, just trying to find some info about this company history about this disc, Cant seem to find much at all. Was looking for a manual also no such luck, parts still avaliable?? Anyone tell me anything??????

I originally believed they were built in Ohio and a previous poster said they were built in Berea, Ohio. Someone later posted they were built in Indiana. We were looking at a new Dun Lehr disk in "76 but it didn't have much iron. Really for lighter duty use. Bought a much better/more rugged IH 370 instead for only a few more dollars. Also built or sold Farmhand loaders. Died sometime in the early-mid eighties. Another poster claimed they made the best cultimulchers. Could be true in the horse-drawn days or before the sixties. We always considered Brillion to be the class act in cultimulchers.

Thanks for that info , Heres a pic of the disc dont have alot to do with it so it will be fine for me.

Dunham-Lehr cultimulchers became Farmhand which was also sold as IH/CaseIH 315 machines. AGCO got a hold of them around 1993 and the Farmhand name gradually disappeared. The cultimulchers and packers were branded Glencoe for a short time, then AGCO phased out that name and line of products when they bought Sunflower.

Dunham-Lehr merged with Farmhand in the 1970s, and Farmhand is now part of AGCO. The parts fron AGCO are high.

Recently sold my 24 ft IH 315 machine. Didn't know it was made by Dun Lehr. I do like the IH 415 better which was flat fold. The later Brillion were also flat fold. Probably Brillion made the 415. Glencoe did stick around longer than the others but knew they also expired.
