Dynahoe 120 starter

is there some place to buy parts for my starter
Made by CAV part # CA45F12-y18 or would a starter from a Fordson Super Major fit and work

I just did a Google search using the search string--- STARTER, CAV ---------and came up with several sites listing parts or complete statrters. The first one on the list shown to me had a starter basically identical to yours as the first thing I saw when opening their link.

Are CAV and Lucas the same? That looks similar to the starter on my UK 135. Dave

NCDave, I went to that site to and emailed them but I didn't get a reply and they wanted over 700$ for that starter and it is a rebuild and the other one that I found said it was for starter and alt. rebuilding companies only. Thanks

And I don't know if they are the same as Lucas that's what I am trying to find out because I can buy a starter for a Fordson Super Major but I don't know if it will work in the Dynahoe even though it has that motor in it. Thanks, Tom

What engine is it for? You might be able to get a Delco Remy starter that will fit. What's wrong with the starter? Have you had someone see if it can be repaired? Dave

135 Fan, the motor in the dynahoe is a Fordson Super major If I can get another starter I don't know where to get it and the reason I want to replace or repair the starter is that it won't turn the motor over fast enough to start
