i wonder if i should run wd 70cc dished pistons in my gleanerE pulling motor?the top of piston to center of wrist pin measurement is 2&11-16 inches.MLPankey said he could figure my compression ratio with these measurememts.any help would be very welcome!mike-

Had found an Allis WD gas engine that had a one inch spacer plate between the head and the block. Never figured out why???

70 cc dish piston 2 11/16 pin hieght 4 inch bore on 4.5 stroke 7.5 inch long rod with a deck hieght of 12.625 thats a little shorter than stock deck takes in account decking the block the piston will park at top dead center .1875 below the deck and yield a compression ratio of 8.83 to 1

how much cranking pressure would that be?my stock wd-45 runs about 100psi.thanks.

well a 175 had 8 to 1 compression and its cranking pressure is 160 psi I wouldnt think it would be over 200 probably 175psi. but thats a guess .

are there any engine re-ring kits out there you recomend?are there any to stay away from?
