Eagle hitch implements

How do u hook up implements to a case dc eagle hitch if the arms dont move? Does the implement have to be made from case for the eagle hitch? Thanks

The arms do move up and down just like any 3 point hitch. I have a VAC with eagle hitch, and use regular 3 point equipment on it. They just don't swing sideways like other 3 points do. The top of lift arm has a hinged latch that raises up to attach lift pins.

Yes, the width will have to match the arms.

Darn near every Eagle Hitch has been cut and welded to make the arm width fit typical implements. My dad's 400B was modified and it was still a pain to hook things up. It would probably be a fantastic hitch if you had a full-line of Eagle Hitch implements to go with it. Check to see if there's welds on your lift arms, if there isn't, you're either extremely lucky, or extremely unlucky.

I use standard three-point implements on all my Eagle hitchs (on my DCs and VACs). I suspect when the tractors were new it could of been a problem at times. But all my Cases have enough wear that allows the arms to swing sideways enough to hook up any Cat 1 hitch.

My VAC which belonged to my grandpa, has had a 2 X 12 Dearborne 3 point plow on it since it was new. No problem at all.

It all depends on the width. Some Cat 1 implements match the Case Eagle width and fit, regardless of wear or not. But, some others are wider and barely make it with worn Eagle arms. I've got a three-point scoop that is two inches wider than the Dearborn plow.

I have gramps's scoop that he used on the Case. He turned the thing over when a rock came out of it as he was backing up. Most of his implements were converted horse drawn stuff that he made just for the Case, so he never had any problems with it.
