Electric shift torque 560

I have thought about the transmission like they use in a pro-stock. It is just like a torque only more gear ratios. Should fit in your torque tube. Can shift it with air.

had idea for this once air shift with an air cylinder lol never made it off the drawing board yet haha

It would take a pretty big solenoid to have enough force. I am sure a linear actuator would make it happen.

It would push it OK but wouldn't it be slow?

Do you consider a two speed rearend in a grain
truck to be slow at shifting?

One advantage on ta in red tractor is there is no
neutral between high and low.

Yah, but you gotta pretty much slam it into TA or else it will slip in the middle.

High side is clutch pack, low side is
sprag....where is middle that would 'slip'
resulting in power train going into a neutral
position?

Besides, right actuator would be faster than a
human....

I found one .It uses air cylinder with a little air tank and I valve off of a semi .i believe they said u can pull it 20 times before u run out of air
